6 COMMON MISTAKES BEGINNERS MAKE!

When setting our on your pursuit of a healthier life the urge to go in all guns blazing is quite high 🤔
_
This can be the biggest reason why I see people fail so let’s talk about the 6 common mistakes that beginners make 👇
_
1️⃣Not Prioritizing Sleep: Many beginners in the gym believe the longer and more often they hit the gym the gains come flooding in. However if you do not place an emphasis on recovery you will not add substantial muscle mass. You can only train as hard as you recover and in a matter of fact you start the rebuilding process once you leave the gym 👌
_
2️⃣ No Training Plan: Going into the gym blind without a training plan and walking around aimlessly is something is see quite a bit. Have a plan as this will give you a clear direction of your workout which will ultimately lead to progress💪
_
3️⃣ Poor Form: Ego lifting can be detrimental to a beginner as they have no idea how to lift correctly with impeccable form. From what I have seen this increase your risk of injury which will stop you in your tracks before you even start. Hire someone who will show you have to train effectively
_
4️⃣Do not eat enough: You need to be in a calorie surplus be in an optimal state to build muscle and get stronger in the gym. This isn’t an excuse to overeat and add unnecessary body fat. A slight surplus would be perfect ✌️
_
5️⃣ No Goal Setting: Without a goal you have no vision of what you are trying to achieve by attending the gym. I have seen so many people get frustrated by the lack of progress because they have no goal. Take some time to make some SMART Goals to help guide you along the way 🎯
_
6️⃣Give Up: All of the above will lead to a lot of frustration due to a lack of direction, no progress, possibly an injury along the way which causes so many people to throw in the towel too early 🤔
